I’m a Sacramento native who used the old Oak Park Library as well as Downtown (Central) when I was growing up. I love the Library as a democratic institution where everyone is welcome. Inside these walls are stories and resources that can make us better and make a better world. When children fill all computer chairs and people of all types are reading and searching in these public spaces, we grow stronger as a society. I serve on the Board of the Sacramento Public Library Foundation to further the programs and resources of one of our best community learning and gathering places.
